Attorney Overview

Terri Thomas practice focuses primarily in the areas of real estate litigation, complex commercial litigation and commercial transactions.  In over 20 years of practice, Ms. Thomas has been a partner in AV rated firms and served as COO, General Counsel and Senior Counsel to public and private companies. She brings a diversity of skills and experience to assist local and national companies in finding business solutions. Ms. Thomas handles most business or contract disputes and can assist in negotiating and drafting vendor and license agreement, master service agreements and general business contracts.

Ms. Thomas’s real estate practice includes construction litigation, commercial foreclosure, residential and commercial real estate disputes, commercial lease negotiation and management, commercial loan documentation, title, due diligence and buyer/seller representation in real estate purchases and sales. Ms. Thomas is a licensed title agent and is also licensed as a Florida Mortgage Loan Officer.  She has acted as a qualifier for the creation of a mortgage brokerage.  In construction disputes, Ms. Thomas has a long history of representing owners, associations, and contractors in construction defect litigation on large municipal projects and smaller developments, both residential and commercial.

Ms. Thomas has lived in the Tampa Bay area for over 20 years and calls it home.
